Default SQL Cluster - Shared Storage Migration - 12-19-2008 , 04:09 AM

Hi everybody,

SCENARIO

An SQL2000 or SQL2005 2-node cluster (based on Windows2003 ENT) with an
iSCSI Shared Storage

ISSUE

I need to replace the iSCSI Storage with a brand new Fibre Channel Storage
.... mantaining the old 2 servers forming the cluster.

Some idea about the procedure ..or documentation about ?

Thanks in advance!

Yes it is possible.

The checklist I used last time was four and one-half pages, but that
involved moving the physical hosts as well.

The essential element is to write the old disk signatures on the new disks
and copy the contents EXACTLY.
