Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm currently in the process of installing a SQL Cluster on Windows 2008 Ent Edition using Windows Clustering. The SQL Cluster Completion Wizard failed, of which I initiated an uninstall of the SQL 2008 Software. However, I'm now getting the following error when the uninstall process fails to complete: The following error has occurred: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Does anyone know what this means? And/or if theres a way to force uninstallation of the Database Services allowing me to reinstall and set up the cluster once again? Any help people can give would be appreciated. Thanks |

That's really interesting. I'm a fan of putting the updated SQL Support files on before actually running the clustered install. It actually does seem to clear up those annoying 'oh, well, I know you've put all your data in properly, but I'm still not going to let you finish the install' messages you get at the end of the installation. Would installing the SP before the actual product have the same net effect? On 3/19/10 1:11 PM, in article eLTqu$4xKHA.2644 (AT) TK2MSFTNGP04 (DOT) phx.gbl, "Geoff N.
