Right. Youj add the node to the cluster then add SQL to the newly clustered
node.

Make sure you leave the patch level exactly at a SP. If you take the
patch to a hotfix level, the process of adding a node and patching it
gets really complex.

Hello everybody,

I have a one-node Windows 2008 cluster and I want to install SQL 2005
(cluster). the point is that I have to wait for a month to receive the
second node so my idea is to start with one node and then add the second
one as soon as I get it.

Is there any problem or concern if I do this or is better to wait until
having both nodes ?
