Default sql 2000 on windows 2003 sp2 - 02-08-2008 , 07:26 AM

Ok, I've tried everything I can think of. The logs are of little help. I've
walked through the KB article, setting up the Named Pipes connection to
install a named instance, I've tried just a default instance, the cluster
works fine and all I get back is Setup cannot complete the operation on both
nodes> and then cleanup and that's it. I've been doing this for FOUR days...
What AM I MISSING!

Cluster working, can failover both the MSDTC Group and the Cluster Group.
Have 2 other shared disks (data/logs). I don't know if maybe I need to
cleanup the previous installations (attempted) somehow - but I don't know how
or where or what... I'm so frustrated at this point. Please ANY AND ALL
SUGGESTIONS ARE SO WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm BEGGING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
