Default sql 2000 vs installation - 08-04-2004 , 06:03 AM

hi everyone
I am installing SQL 2000 on a single node cluster
but after sometime that the virtual server resource installation message
shows up, an error occures and
the installation rolls back.
during the installation as I notice in cluster administrator,
all the required resources are installed but when attempting to bring the
sql server resource online it fails
and no extended errors are reported in logs .
any body has any idea what causes this and how I can fix it.?
