Default sql 2000 setup on 2003 cluster - 01-07-2004 , 02:22 AM

Hi

I am trying to install Sql 2000 Ent on a distributed 2003
cluster (majority node). I have setup the cluster disks
and MSDTC. The install stops responding after the virtual
IP page when it starts looking for the disk groups. I
have tried the Name pipe work around (Q815431) but no
luck and the setup log has no errors.

Has anyone seen this or has a similar problem?

Any help is much appreciated.

David

We have had setup fail in the same place with an error in the Application Event log complaining about comctl32.dll. The cluster shared storage had some mount points defined. When we removed the mount points, the installation completed successfully
Hope this helps
