Default SQL 2000 Enterprise - 06-23-2004 , 08:44 PM

I would like to setup SQL Enterprise in a 2 node cluser
to act in a "active/active" form. I may be using the
wrong termanolgy.

I would like to have both SQL servers handle client
requests for the same database. In the event if one node
fails the other node will handle all of the traffic.
Until the failed node is back online. Is this possible?

and good resources for How to style documents?

we currently have 2 servers dual nic and a shared SCSI
storage array along with 2 x Windows 2000 Advanced Server
and 2 x SQL 2000 Enterprise.

Thanks.

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../failclus.mspx
is a great place to start.

You can't have a DB on two servers at the same time. SQL 2000 Clustering was
not designed that way. Sorry.
