Default SP3a on active/active win2k cluster - 02-11-2005 , 10:23 AM

I am going to be installing SP3 on an active /active cluster tomorrow and
would like some help if possible. We have two virtual SQL SP2 servers (one
is a named instance).

I have been reading up on the documentation and all, but have not found any
conclusive procedure for this installation.

I figure that all I need to do is have both virtual servers running on one
node and then run setup twice. One for each virtual server and this updates
the 2nd node as well. Is this correct.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Shane

Read the SP3a Readme file. It has specific cluster installation
instructions. Start the installation from the node that hosts the instance
you want to update. You must run the installation once for each instance.
