I'd try to reinstall the sp in debug mode using the below command. This
should tell you exactly where the command is failing or what pending
operations have not succeeded.
c:\x86\setup\Setupsql.exe k=dbg where x86 is the directory you have your sp
in.

Question, can SQL Server 2000 SP3 (not SP3A) be applied
to a windows 2003 cluster? I tried this recently (two
times) and received "the required operations did not
complete". However, the sqlsp logs state that the
installation was successful. Will soon be migrating some
databases over from an environment with SP3 which is why
we chose this service pack level. Was intallation
successful or not? |
