Default SP3 on SQL2000 Cluster - 01-15-2004 , 09:40 AM

I am planning on installing SP3 on SQL2000 with SP2. The
SQL server is clustered and I am wondering if I am going
to encounter any problems? I read the readme file and it
looks as if it is stright forward, but I am worried becase
it is a production database.
I would appriciate any feed back on this.

Zaid,

Use SP3a rather than SP3.

I had no problems applying SP3a to my clusters.

Hi -
Follow the readme instructions and always ensure you have proper backup
taken before applying any SPs.
There should not be any problem in applying SP3/SP3a in your clustered
instance.

Chandra
