We have build 2 instances of virtual server in a SQL
cluster, namely sqlcluster1 & sqcluster2.
Service pack3 intsalled just fine in sqlcluster2 but won't
install in sqlcluster1 and no error message displayed. set
up screen just closes and brings sql server resource for
that instance offline.
Any help or sugesstion.

Try failing the instance over to the other node and running the service
pack setup from that node.
