There is nothing magic about a SQL Service account. Most of the time, the
defaults work just fine, except you don't want the password to expire. AD
Users and Computers tool, create a new user. Fill in the information and
you are done.

So do u have any link that can assist me on how to create that dedicated
account use to run the service in the cluster sql environment? i Supposed
that link will show me from step by step from AD on how to create the
account

You need to create a specific service account for SQL Server. It should
be
an ordinary domain account, not an administrator eitehr globally or
locally
on the boxes. Use the administrator account to do the installation and
specify the "ordinary" account for the service account(s).

Hi Geoff
This is the step that i used to create that service account for SQL cluster
2008 environment

Go to AD server-----create user from AD User and computer directory
Type-----Cluster Administrator with User logon Name is = clusteradmin
Password = xxxxxxxxx
I checked = Password Never expires

Then i go to both node which is DBW01 and DBW02. Under the Administrative
tools, i go to Computer Management. Then under Local Users and Groups, i
select Groups and i select Administrator. By right click, i choose to "Add to
Group". Then i add the "clusteradmin" in the Administrator Properties Dialog
Box. The apply.

Then i return back to the sql setup and by using that clusteradmin account,
i managed to continue the wizard

Almost.

You need an admin account to execute the install, but you want a
low-privelege account to actually run SQL Server.
