Is there a way to find the actual physical server name that the clustered instance of SQL is running on. I am setting up a failover to a ModelOffice server and if the Production instance starts up on the MO Server I would like to shutdown the MO Instance. I need to know which physical server I am running on so I do not shutdown MO unnecessarily if Prod is being rebooted for some reason. and then fails back to its original server. |
