Default Problem with sql2000 cluster installation - 06-15-2004 , 04:52 PM

Hi,

i try to install a SQL2000 on Windows 2003 Ent.; i enable Network DTC and
manually configure a MSDTC Resource reading the article :

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;301600
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;811054

After verified the MSDTC Resource failover but when i try to install SQL2000
Ent from CDROM the radio button "Virtual Server" is disable.
Why ?

My Cluster service is started and into event viewer ther'isnt any error.

Anybody have a good idea ?

Thanks.

This has nothing to do with MSDTC. Try failing the resource group that you
want to install SQL Server into over to the second node and run setup from
there and see if you get the same result.
