Default Preferred Nodes in a SQL 200 Cluster - 06-05-2008 , 06:07 AM

On a Windows 2003 cluster that has SQL 2000 that has only one node in
the preferred nodes.

What is the implications of adding all the other nodes in the cluster?

It increases the availability of your SQL Server. If you have only one
preferred node, then it can run only on that node and when the node goes
down, you're off the air.
