Default odd cluster question - Hillary Cotter Please - 08-18-2008 , 03:30 PM

I want to create a clustered sql server instance.

There is a standalone instance of sql server on one of the servers
I verified it was not clustered by looking at the server properties.

When I opened the configuration manager, It tells me Analysis server is
clustered.

When I attempt to install a sql server cluster it tells me a cluster exists.

If I remove the clustered analysis server, will this allow me to create a
cluster?

OK, I got some food and rest, let's try this again.

On reflection: I found the analysis service to be clustered.
I found the database is not clustered.

I guess all I have to do is to "add" the database to the cluster.

How would I do that?

Thanks
