I have a Windows 2000 Cluster running SQL server 2000.
After each reboot the following appears in the eventlog.

Event ID 2506 "The value named NoRemapPipes in the
server's Registry key LanmanServer\Parameters was
invalid. The value was ignored, and processing continued"
appears in the eventlog.

The only article I can find on this (Article 289683
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;Q289683) says only to ignore the error.

Is there anyway to stop this error from appearing in the
event log? Can I just delete this key?:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserve r\paramet
ers\NoRemapPipes
