Default node names visible - 02-28-2005 , 02:18 PM





I have setup a new 2 node A/P SQL cluster on W2K3 ent. When the server is
running on node 1, if i open a new data source or server registration i can
browse to both the virtual name and the node 1 name! If I failover to node
2, and re-browse, I can see the virtual name and the name of node 2! Any
ideas why? I thought I should only be seeing the virtual name, no matter
what node it was up on..?
