Hi,

We have a 2 node / 2 virtual instance SQL server cluster running. We are
trying to register the 1st SQL server instance in Enterprise Manager over a
Lan-to-Lan VPN connection. We were able to register the instance fine when
there was only one SQL instance operating on the cluster. As soon as we
created the second instance the Virtual server instances were renamed from
dataprosql to dataprosql\dataprosql I assume to accomodate for the second
instance. We were able to register the instance before in enterprise manager
using \\domainname\sqlinstancename but now that the SQL instance has a "\"
in it the registration fails. Can anyone provide advice on this issue?
