Is there any special considerations for setting up a new group on a cluster? Would a new group give me the capabilities to create and seperate databases from the original default databases?? Ok but when I try that I choose the same install path as the original sql (D install and choose to place the databases on a cluster resourcedrive (F . So sql states that if I choose that cluster resource drive if thecluster fails over I will loose my installation files. Thoughts? "Tom Moreau" wrote: Just run another install. I have 1 sql 2000 cluster (2 nodes active/passive) running on win2k3. I have one default instance running. I need to create a separate instance. Do you have any recommendations for installing a 2nd instance on this sql cluster or articles? Im sure that because this is a sql cluster there are particular install instructions/recommendations. Please advise as I am not a sql admin. Thxs |
