Default MSDTC on Windows Server 2003 - Cluster - 03-01-2004 , 04:06 AM

With Windows 2000 Server or Advanced Server when it comes to install MSDTC on Cluster we had to run on both nodes "COMCLUST.EXE"
Is this true also for Windows Server 2003 or it is enough to follow the instrunctions of the MS Knowledge Base number 301600
Here is the link
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];30160
Thank you very much
Best regards

Franco,

For W2K3, it is enough to follow the instructions in the KB article you
mentioned.

As stated in the KB article, please note that it is not recommended that you
create the MSDTC resource in the default "Cluster Group" (i.e. the group
containing the quorum resource) or in the group that contains other program
resources, such the Microsoft Exchange resources.

Regards,
Shon

Follow the instructions in kb301600. MSDTC now has it's own resource dll in W2K3 clustering so no need to run comclust.
