Default Moving system datbases on cluster - 07-02-2008 , 05:57 AM

I am just determining the necessary steps to move the system datbases that I
have on an Active/Passive cluster. I found the process to do this on a
standalone SQL Server.

What I don't know how to do is start SQL Server with the /f and /T3608. In
the process I have found it says you can just use NET START MSSQLSERVER /f
/T3608, but as I understand it all this would do would be to make the cluster
failover to the passive node.

How should I add these parameters on my cluster?

In a clustered instance (and on a standalone instance too) you have to put
these startup parameter in SQL Server Configuration Manager.
In "SQL Server 2005 Services" section right click the "SQL Server (instance
name)" icon... Properties... and then in the "Advanced" tab there is
"Startup Parameters".

Bye
