Default Moving cluster to a new domain - 03-22-2008 , 10:01 AM

Hi,

We have two production SQL Server 2005 clusters. The one (the old) cluster
is member of its own domain, called SQL-CLUSTER. The other cluster servers
are members of our production domain, where all other production servers are
members.

We would like to move the old cluster (the nodes) to the other domain, so we
only have one domain. What is the procedure to do so? I would think that
the SQL services should be changed to run under an account from the new
domain - but what else? The cluster is a 2 node, 1 instance cluster. I am
not sure if I can just register the two nodes in the other domain, or if
that can break the cluster.

/Sjang
