Hi. Can you help me with moving from old hardware to new. I have 2 node A/A SQL cluster. node 1 - win 2003 x64 SP2 Ent. Ed., SQL 2005 SP2 Standard, default instance node 2 - win 2003 x64 SP2 Ent. Ed, SQL 2005 SP2 Standard, named instance node 3 - win 2003 x64 SP2 Ent. Ed, SQL 2005 SP2 Standard node 4 - win 2003 x64 SP2 Ent. Ed, SQL 2005 SP2 Standard I want to replace old hardware so I joined third node and fourth to existing cluster. I have installed workstation components. Then I have succesfully changed virtual server and removed first instance from node one. After reboot of node 1 I went to change virtual server and start to add it to fresh new node 3, but I cant get past remote account security. I'm using domain admin account or account under wich is running sql server service or cluster service - I'm stuck and unable to continue with setup. Can you help me, please. Best regards, Robert |

This is my error --------- SQL Server 2005 Setup requires administrator permission on every cluster node. To continue, update permission for the account currenty running Setup, or log in with an account that has administrator permissions on every cluster node, and then run SQL Server Setup again. ---------- I'm using admin account and I can log in on every node with this account. But setup wont continue. Do you have any suggestion? Regards, Robert "Mohit K. Gupta" wrote: What error message do you get Rob? -- Mohit K. Gupta B.Sc.
