Default Minimum permissions - 07-15-2003 , 09:33 PM

We want to use Windows authentication (not mixed mode)
but want to disable "everyone - full control"

What are the minimum permissions that are required for a
clustered sql 2000 on Windows 2000 advanced?

Thanks,
Yaron

The minimum permissions for the Cluster Service account are:
Lock Pages in memory
Log on as a service
Act as part of the OS
Back up files and directorises
Increase quotas
Increase scheduling priority
Load and unload device drivers
Restore files and directories

The easiest way to do this is Give the cluster service and sql service
accounts local admin rights then add the following permissions:

Lock pages in memory
log on as a service
act as part of the OS

refer to article KB247720 for more information
