Dear All, We are installating an acive/passive sql server 2000 cluster. One of my friend recommended to configure the max server memory as total server memory - 256. When I asked him why, he said it will prevent SQL Serer 2000 from using all the available memory on the server and it will help the operating system to failover the sql server to secondary node smoothly when there is a trouble. Can I follow this recommendation. Regards Balaji |
