Hi Uri and Kevin, Thanks to both of for the response. Each node has 4GB of RAM and it is a active/passive cluster. When I asked him why, he said it will prevent SQL Serer 2000 from using all the available memory on the server and it will help the operating system to failover the sql server to secondary node smoothly when there is a trouble.
