Default Majority Node set with SQL 2000 - 02-09-2004 , 12:06 PM

Would it be possible to create SQL 2000 instance on Windows 2003 Majority
nodes set? I have two test seperate servers that need to be clustered
without shared disks in multiple locations and be able to failover SQL
services w/ rest of the resources under majority node set. Please let me
know if there's anyone out there who had tried this before.

thanks,

Kevin Kim

Yes, but it will have no value as you still need a shared
disk component for the SQL disks. So I wouldn't bother.

MNS only changes the way you do the server cluster portion.
