Default Looking for high performance cluster storage - 08-28-2008 , 03:00 PM

I have a 2 node SQL 2005 cluster (active-passive) that currently has a
single direct attached SCSI array for it's shared storage. Because
we've reached the performance limit of the SCSI array, I want to
replace it with multiple SAS arrays connected to multiple controllers
to reduce contention. I like the Dell MD3000 arrays, but according to
Dell you can only connect 1 MD3000 to a host. I know I can daisy-
chain 2 more MD1000 from the MD3000, but all of these drives would be
using the same controller.

Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone else done anything like this
recently?

Thanks.
