Default Login failure for database users - 12-02-2003 , 04:22 PM

I am trying to login to SQL with a database account and it
fails if I am logged into my local desktop as a local
user. If I am logged in with my domain ID it works fine. I
have tried from several computers and servers, all with
the enterprise manager from the SQL2000 CD. I am only
having this problem on one server, my cluster.

Thanks,
Derek

SQL Server clustered instances are run under context of a
domain account. You should be able to log in as SA or
whatever you set up under SQL, but if you are only logged
in as a local user and try to access SQL Server, it will
not know about you.

What error are you getting when you attempt to log on while logged on as a
local user?
