Default Installing SSIS 2005 in a clustered environment - 08-29-2008 , 09:20 AM

I have a two node cluster (a/a) with two SQL Server instances.
Now, I have to plan to install SSIS, but not as cluster resource.
Each node have a local disk. Each SQL Server resource group have two
disk (one for the data and the other one for the transaction log) on a SAN.
I think to install SSIS on each node. Do I put it on each resource group
containing the SQL Server service or is it better to create a new resource
group?
Which disk SSIS have to use, the local or one of the two assigned to each
SQL Server resource group? I remember that I want to use SSIS not as a
cluster resource.
Does exist any white paper about to install SSIS in a cluster environment as
not a cluster resource?
Thanks

You cannot create a local SSIS installation on each node and then create a
clustered resource around it.

If you want it local, then just install it on each node independently.
