Default installing multiple sql instances with cluster - 11-19-2008 , 03:39 AM

Hello,

We have a situation where we have Qa environment SQL server 2005/2008 with
multiple instances each with different collation.
I have been asked to move this server under cluster environment, my question
is prior to installation would it be wise or mandatory to prepare
disk resource for each instance or only disk instance for each version
(2005/2008) ?

Please advise what would be the best approach

Thanks in advanced

For each clustered instance, you have to have a separate disk resource.
