Default Installation order - 08-15-2008 , 10:54 AM

Objective: SQL S setuperver cluster

I am trying to assist my cllient who has an MS cluster setup. However it
appears they had SQL Server installed on one physical box (A) before
clustering.

Now they are having problems.

My suggestion is to remove the cluster.
Re-insatall the cluster.
In stall a clustered instance of sql server.
migrate databases to clustered instance.

Does this sound correct or am I missing something?

I don't see any need to break the cluster.

Go ahead and install a SQL Clustered instance. Then you can migrate the
data, settings, etc to the new instance.
