Default How to start sql server on cluster and which services are cluster - 03-12-2009 , 09:06 AM

Hi folks
I have 2 questions:
1. I want to stop and start sql server - not move - on cluster. Which
buttons / operations I use for it on Cluster Administrator.
2. Which of all sql services are cluster aware.

Thank you

From Cluster Administrator bring the resource group online.

SQL Engine is cluster aware in 2000 and higher
SSAS is cluster-aware in 2005 and higher.

SSRS should be farmed and not clustered.

SSIS can be clustered but is not natively cluster-aware.
