How can I install Integration Services on a functioning SQL2008
cluster?

I'm not bothered about it being a clustered resource, but in the SQL
setup app it will not allow me to add the Integration Services feature
to the existing instance. The only option it presents is to install a
new instance of SQL server and integration services along with it -
the implication here though is that the feature will not be available
to the clustered instance.

I have a fully functional SQL 2008 Standard clustered default
instance, and all I want to do is add Integration Services. This
platform is in production so I cannot re-install the clustered
instance, or even stop it.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, however I don't think you've read my question.

As I mentioned I don't want to cluster it - can you be more specific
about what you mean when you say "You should
install and start the service on each node." ? What is the procedure
for installing this? Like I said, the SQL installer is inviting me to
install a separate instance of SQL - is this the only way to do it?
