We are planning a new project where we'd like to ghost
images of the O/S and several applications including SQL
Server on a 2-node Windows Server 2003 Node. Once these
servers go out into the field to multiple offices, the
instance name and virtual IP will need to change to infor
unique to that division. We'll have 40+ of these to do.
I've reviewed knowledge base articles 244980 - HOW TO
Change the Network IP Addresses of SQL Server Virtual
Servers_files and 307336 - INF How to Change a Clustered
SQL Server Network Name_files, but these make me believe
I'd have to re-run setup on each server to do this. Am I
missing something?
