Default Failover technique for cluster - 03-23-2009 , 11:07 PM

Hi

What if we have a 2 node cluster & the heart beat NIC fails between
them, in that case the link between both the servers (private) is
broken,

So how would the failover happen for it ... I mean would the node
remain working or failover.

Thanks.

The public network should be configured as an alternate path for Cluster
private communications. If your cluster is configured correctly, yuo should
see an alert but no actual failover.
