Default Failed Node - No Backups! - 12-19-2008 , 03:24 AM

Could someone point me to any articles so that I can initiate an exiction
and rebuild / rejoin of one of our nodes in a 2 node w2003 cluster running 2
instances of SQL 2005. I am particulary interested how I get the clustered
SQL software onto this rebuild.

btw. The lack of backups was due to a "communication" breakdown between
teams!

Regards,

Mark.

Don't freak. Cluster node replacements are not impossible.

Look in BOL (Books on-line) for a step-by-step guide uner the topic
"Maintaining a Failover Cluster". If you have specific concerns after
reading that, just post back here.
