Hi,

The scenario is sql2k with sp3a on win2003(active/passive cluster)
From the SQL log this was the error

Error: 17883, Severity: 1, State: 0
The Scheduler 1 appears to be hung. SPID 53, ECID 1, UMS Context
0x04069D90

I dont see any other error messages in the log.

I had gone thru the MS KB articles

In this article MS says about the patch and a Hot fix

Has anyone encountered this problem and applied this patch on a
cluster?
Will this solve the problem ? Any ideas/ suggestions are welcome
