Default Elimate 200 cluster and all traces of servers - 11-20-2008 , 10:16 PM

Hi,

I have been tasked with setting up a sql server 2008 active-passive cluster.

To start with I have been giving two windows server 2008 servers for
development / testing.
windows failover clustering and MSDTC has been added to these servers.

I set up the servers and things worked, but no like I was expecting.
I used the sql server 2008 setup.exe to remove each sql server from the
cluster.
however I noticed that although he removal process removed the database
engine it left all the tools / configuration managers ect behind.

my question is, how can i remove sql server 2008 entirely from each server,
when I say entirely i mean all directories / registry settings / any entries
in the clustering manager etc.
basically I want to bring the servers back to the condition that they were
in before I started.

many thanks in advance.

cheers

martin.

If you really want to bring the back, why not wipe them
Very effective in starting clean for a new cluster.
