Default Different failover time in two different nodes - 09-09-2008 , 12:24 PM

I have moved some times a SQL Server resource group from a node to another
one in a two node cluster environment.
I have registered two different times: from Node A to Node B 10-15 seconds,
from node B to node A 20-30 seconds.
Hardware and software installed are the same. I have installed SQL Server
2005 + SP2. The related settings are the same.
Which other control can I execute?

Did you try to failover back and forth many times between the nodes, and
consistently got different failover elapsed times as described? I'd start by
checking restarting the resources locally and see if there is any significant
difference in the restart time for each resource on the two nodes. But in the
grand scheme of things, if the cluster otherwise works fine, I[probably have
other more urgent things to fix first.
