Dear Pasquale,

we noticed that this is the 3rd post in regards to failover timings.

You seem to be concerned with 10-15 seconds and 20-30 seconds

can you state why these timings are causing so much trouble ?

what would you see as an acceptable failover time ? (and please explain why)

Let us know
rgds,
edwin.

I have moved some times a SQL Server resource group from a node to another
one in a two node cluster environment.
I have registered two different times: from Node A to Node B 10-15
seconds,
from node B to node A 20-30 seconds.
Hardware and software installed are the same. I have installed SQL Server
2005 + SP2. The related settings are the same.
Which other control can I execute?
