Default Dell Clustering - 07-14-2003 , 11:25 AM

I have two servers and an external RAID. Do you think I
can configure a clustering with them?

The two servers have Windows 2k Advanced server, and my
external RAID has two SCSI cards so I can connect it to
both servers.

I have a single copy of SQL server enterprise and I have
read that if using Active/Passive clustering configuration
I would not need a second copy of SQL enterprise.

Could you please let me know if I have everything I need?

Thanks
White

Hi White,

In SQL Active/Passive clustering setting is not
necesary two license.
Your installation in primary node full SQL Server,
whereas in secundary node only programs files of SQL.

Check the HCL. If your configuration isn't there, don't try it.
