The performance monitor service is not cluster-aware. As such, it can only
see counters that exist on the local node.

I have a n+1 cluster running Windows 2003 sp2 64-bit and Sql 2005 64bit.
When I use perfmon all the counters for the instances that are not running
on
the active node return a value 0. For example if Node A has Sql instance
A
and Node B has Sql insatnce B, when I run perform on Node A I only get
values
reurned for Sql Instance A and for Sql instance B the counters are always
0.
Is this by design or is there a fix for this?
