-----Original Message----- We have a clustered sql server installation running on windows 2003 enterprise. SqlServer is setup for mixed mode authentication. We are not able to connect client machines to SqlServer unless they are added to the cluster's AD Domain. SqlServer is setup as default listening on 1433. When we try to connect supplying the sa credentials, we get "Sql Server does not exist or access is denied" errors. If we join the AD, we are able to connect using either authentication method. Anyone have any suggestions? Please don't tell me that every client machine needs to be in AD - that would really suck. Thanks, John Ryan . |
