Hello friends, I created a 2 node w2008 cluster with 2 instances of SQL Server 2k5 sp3 and I'm confused with one configuration on MSDTC Resource. Based on the advise from http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/geoffh/ar...-Clusters.aspx , I created on eache SQL Server Group a MSDTC resource that have the following dependencies: Dedicated Disk and the SQL Server network name. Is this correct or should I create a dedicated IP and network name for each Msdtc resource? Thank you, Bruno |

If the MSDTC resourcde is in the SQL Application group, then you can use the SQL group name and IP address. -- Geoff N.
