Default Clustering - 01-30-2004 , 07:52 AM

I have installed SQL Server on a new cluster. We are
having problems with the SQL Server Failing Over on the
Full Text service. I do not see an error and can not
figure out why it will not failover to the other node.
Also a question about how the cluster is setup, I noticed
that sql server is not dependant on the q drive. Infact
the q drive is in another cluster group could this be
causing some of my problems?

As a convention (not a requirement), the Q drive is often
used as the quorum disk in the Cluster Group that has
cluster name and cluster IP address. Your SQL Server
instance >should not< use it or depend on it.

Are there no errors in the application log ralated to Full Text (MSSearch)
of the node that FULL TEXT fails to come on line on?
