Default Clustered Analysis Server - 01-07-2004 , 06:04 AM

Hi.

I'm thinking about installing Analysis Server (2000) on
Windows Server 2003 (2-node). Any known problems that I
should be aware of?

Thanks in advance.

Bjorn

Analysis Server is not a cluster aware app like the base
SQL Server 2000. You can use NLB or a server cluster
(installing it as a generic service in the cluster). That
method is detailed in a KB article, and the former in both
the SQL 2K HA book as well as in a whitepaper somewhere on
the SQL site.
