Default Certificate for SSL encryption on a SQL Server cluster - 12-19-2003 , 03:17 PM

I am trying to get a certificate issued for the virtual
SQL server through MS Certificate Services which is
installed on our backup domain controller. The
instructions on KB article Q276553 indicate that when I
make the certificate request through the web browser, I
should select "submit a certificate request to this CA
using a form" and then I will be prompted to enter the
fully qualified domain name. I am given the option to
request a certificate in this way, but after that I get a
totally different screen wanting me to chose a template
etc. Has anyone done this successfully?

Thanks,

Select:

Or, submit an advanced certificate request.
Then select:
Create and submit a request to this CA.
