Two node cluster running windows 2003 sp1, sql 2005 sp2, 4 instances. I can not fail all instances over to a single node. I have confirmed this is not a resource issue with memory. One node will allow 3 instances to fail over and fourth will error out by failing sql server and agent. On node 2, I get the same behaviour on two of the four instances. All instances are affected, so on node 1, whoever is unlucky instance number four in the failover, their agent and sql service dies. On node two....the last two instances that fail over will exhibit this same behaviour. I'm getting errors in app log for MSSQLServer event id 19019 [sqsrvres] StartResourceService: StartService (MSSQLSERVER) failed. Error: 41d event id 19019 [sqsrvres] OnlineThread: Error 41d bringing resource online. event id 19019 [sqsrvres] OnlineThread: Error 41d bringing resource online. agent fails after also Anyone have suggestions? thanks...your input is appreciated. |
