Hi i have installed our new Failover Cluster, based on Windows 2003 and SQL 2000 SP3. This looks like CLUSTERSRV1 - 10.1.1.1 (Active) CLUSTERSRV2 - 10.1.1.2 (Passiv) CLUSTER1 - 10.1.1.3 (Cluster IP) SQLCLUSTER - 10.1.1.4 (SQL Server) I wonder myself why it is not possible to bound the SQL Server virtual IP to the Cluster IP!? Are you able to explain me why this is not possible or what's my fault!? I cannot see any sense in this... Greetings Alex |
